Everyday By Noah Kalina
Idris Khan
Since 1959 Bernd and Hilla Becher have been photographing industrial
engineering such as water towers and reservoirs. There photos are presented in a typography style where everything is repeated to show different angles and views of the subject matter. they are well renowned photographers in this field then even have there own institute where they teach there style to others so they create image just like them.Idris Khan is a British artist who has composted each image that the Becher took on top of each other to create these pieces below. To Me they look like lots of sketches of the same water tower for example which then creates a 3D look to his work.

Simon Hoegsberg - we all going to die
This piece is shot over 20 days in the same spot on a bridge in Berlin. There are l78 people featured in this 100 metres long image. only certain people realise they are being photographed majority don't realise. The motive wasn't sinster one despite the title it was to suggest quite the opposite it’s meant to point out that life is beautiful and we should express our feelings and thoughts before they day.Without knowing the motive behind the image the title is enough to grab my attention possible the reason simon chose the title.
Paul Seawright- Sectarian Murder
Paul Seawright revisited the sites of Sectarian attacks during the 1970's in Northern Ireland where Seawright is from. His images are accompanied by the original reports from the police and newspapers. These attacks where religious attacks in Ireland which is why the religious backgrounds and beliefs are removed from the text to be secular.
Thomas Demand
Demand makes models of historical and political interests then destroys them after he has photographed them so the photography becomes the memory of his work there is no other copy just on photograph. The detail in these models is phenomenal the wo images of the models show just how much detail Demand has put in to each model. The attention detail before destroying I think was intentional to make the audience why he destroyed them.
Veronica Ferias- The Disappeared
"The disappeared" is a book that defines the identity of absence, not only by image but also in words , through anonymous and blurred. the series was created because of Veronicas background, growing up in Argentina during the dictatorship she would meet people who were suppose to be family yet she knew very little of. Hence why she create this book about identity from her own memories.
